How does the referral program work?
Share your unique referral link with other creators. When they sign up and make their first sale, you get 1 month free on your current plan (or a free Growth upgrade if you're on Starter). They get 1 month of free Growth tier.
Where do I find my referral link?
Go to Dashboard → Referrals and click 'Generate Referral Link'. You can then copy and share your unique link.
When do I get my reward?
Rewards are granted automatically when your referred creator makes their first successful sale on Skillspad. You'll receive an email notification.
Do rewards stack with existing promos?
Yes! If you already have an active promo (like SELAR2026), referral rewards extend your free tier period.
Is there a limit to how many people I can refer?
You can refer as many creators as you like, and each one still earns their own free month — the free months you collect are capped at 6 in total.
What does the referred creator get?
They also get 1 month of free Creator tier after making their first sale. It's a win-win!
What's included in Creator tier?
Creator tier includes 4% transaction fees (instead of 5%), file hosting, video hosting, priority support, advanced analytics, and custom landing pages.
Can I track my referrals?
Yes! Your Referrals dashboard shows total signups, pending referrals (waiting for first sale), and completed referrals with rewards earned.
What if my referral doesn't make a sale?
They remain as a 'pending' referral. Once they make their first sale, both rewards activate automatically.
Can I refer myself or use multiple accounts?
No. Self-referrals and multiple account abuse violate our terms of service. Focus on genuine referrals to fellow creators.
